The Inflammatory and the Metastatic ****** Cancer
The inflammatory and the metastatic ****** cancer are different kinds of ****** cancer. The inflammatory ****** cancer (IBC) of the mammary gland is a rare and specific kind of a cancer. It is very aggressive. It is called inflammatory because of its symptoms. The ****** is inflamed, because of its redness and warmth. The skin could be furrowed like an orange and with dimples. This kind of cancer can have a tendency and a rapid development. It is diagnosed mainly in younger women. It occurred more frequently in the younger Afro -American women than others. The researches point man can also suffer from IBC, but at an older age than women.
IBC is dangerous because it is not necessary to have a lump in the ******. Most of the people connected the word “breast cancer” with having a lump. When they cannot touch a lump they think that everything is ok. Some of the symptoms of IBC are as these of the month period of the woman or other injury. For example this is the swelling. What is more important is to know that all these symptoms develop very quickly. The swollen lymph nodes can be spread not only in the breast, but under the arm or around the collarbone. The early diagnosis is of great importance because of the great activity of the cancer.
The metastatic ****** cancer is when the cancer cells are not found in an early stage and they have spread not only in the ****** but outside it. They can be spread to the lymph nodes under the arm or to the
collarbone area or even in the other organs. It can be cured by surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy or with the combination of several therapies. The right treatment extends the life and slows down the second occurrence of the disease, eases the symptoms and improves the way of life. The choice of the treatment of metastatic cancer of the ****** depends on the multiplicity of factors, including: the characteristics of the tumor, the degree of the spreading of metastasis and their location, the expected results of the different kinds of treatment, the unwanted reactions. An important factor is the existence of the overproduction of hormone receptors and HER2 receptors.
The ****** cancer is considered to be cured when there is no existence of cancer cells. It is difficult to be defined the period of time after which the disease is thought to be cured. In fact, relapse can appear many years after the first diagnosis and the treatment. For all the women with a ****** cancer the critical period is from 1 and a half to 2 years after the treatment, but there are rare cases that it can arise after 30 years.
