Sally Depp asked:

For some of you who might not know, October is ****** Cancer Awareness Month. While we might not be able to completely prevent ****** cancer, but at least we can take the necessary preventive steps to avoid ****** cancer by keeping ourselves healthy and fit.

There are things that we can do and within our control such as:

1. Practice yoga or meditation – this can deepen the awareness of our body.

2. Cardio and aerobic exercises a few times per week (to ensure blood circulation and good heart).

3. Maintain a healthy diet – try to avoid processed food whenever possible.

4. Be around with positive people – have a positive mental attitude.

There are 4 things you can avoid to maintain a good healthy lifestyle:

1. Avoid aspartame – one of the common ingredients in no-sugar products such as tabletop sweeteners, breath mints, sugar-free chewing gums, carbonated beverages and frozen desserts. Studies have shown that this chemical actually cause cancer in rats.

2. Avoid medications that contain acetaminophen like Vicodin and Tylenol because this can drive down the glutathione levels in our body. Glutathione is essential to our body because it act as a detoxifier and antioxidant.

3. Avoid toxins – wash your vegetables and fruits thoroughly to remove any chemical residues on them. If possible, use toxin-free products and consume only organic foods. Organic vegetables and fruits that are not genetically modified.

4. Avoid placing your cellphones near to your body when you sleep. Cell phone emits radio frequency energy which is a kind of radio wave which may cause cancer in the long run. It is best to place your cell phone far away when it is not in used.
