The curtain rises on the beautiful
Balboa Theatre and Wonder Morton Organ!

On Saturday, July 19th , 2008, we will celebrate the dedication of the Wonder Morton Organ at the Balboa Theatre.

The first performance of the organ will take place in the Fall of 2008.

We invite you to join us at 6:00 pm for this historic event, and for a reception to follow at the U. S. Grant Hotel.

At 8:00pm dinner will be served followed by a program - A Special Tribute to the late Toni Michetti - The Spirit of the Balboa Theatre.

Tickets are available at the $200 or $350 level

The Balboa Theatre is now open! For tickets to events at the Theatre or to find out how to rent the Theatre, please go to the San Diego Theatres, Inc. website.

Please consider making a tax deductible donation to help us create a curatorial fund for the organ to keep it playing at the Balboa Theatre for generations to come.

The Balboa Theatre Foundation has made a commitment of over one million dollars to purchase, restore , install and maintain this magnificent Organ as a gift to the people of San Diego.

It is our hope that you will join with us in supporting this goal and helping to celebrate this historic venue that will enrich San Diego arts and culture for decades to come.
